She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sutherland and Esther Sutherland; her husband Durward Smith (Jim); her sister Roberta Sutherland; her son Michael Smith; and her grandson Devin Stair.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Smith, Dolores Barker (James) and Rob Smith (Bonnie Brooks); her grandson Jacob Barker; and her nieces, Heather Stein and Alison Baird.
