He is survived by: his children, Larnell Strauther of Lake Jackson, Carnell Strauther of Lake Jackson, Gayland Strauther (Gena) of Lake Jackson, Lamonte Strauther (Catunya) of Cibolo, Danielle George (James) of Pearland and Kenedi Allen of Pearland; his brother Bassett "Bubba" Strauther of Houston; his aunt Mary Ann Sanders of Freeport; and his close friends, Daryl LeBlanc (Sheryl) of Beaumont, J. P. Thomas of Brazoria, Raymond Backmon (Peggy) of Lake Jackson and Cynthia Allen of Pearland. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
