With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Lynn Murphy (Lake Jackson, Texas), born in Freeport, Texas, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Francis M. Murphy; and her sister Rhonda Poje. She is survived by: her son Chad Barkley Brandt; her mother Dorothy A. Murphy; her granddaughter Haley Gray Brandt; and her sisters, Darla Phillips (Jackie), Dawn Yntema and Scarlet Hoogakker (Doug). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
