He was predeceased by: his son Philip; his parents, John Sykora and Mary Sykora; and his brothers, Johnnie and Raymond.

He is survived by: his brother Uncle; his wife Joyce; his daughter Sonya Wright (James); and also, Jean (Bob), Rich, Mary Ann (Dexter) and Polk. He is also survived by Nieces; Nephews and Cousins.
