He is survived by: his wife Martha; his sister Ruby James; and his children, Marvin Ryan, Robert Ryan, Lana Nash, Pam Eidet, Sandy Ryan and Sherry Lin. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (219 County Rd 762, Brazoria, TX 77422). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Perry Cemetery.
