David Chow Obituary
David Chow, 64, of Lake Jackson, TX, passing because of Bile Duct Cancer on November 12, 2019. David was born to Hsueh Lien Chow and Betty C Chow on March 12, 1955 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. David married Eve Chen in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27, 2013. David worked for 31 years as a Tax Auditor for the government's Internal Revenue Service.
David was a family man, he loved life, enjoyed food and liked to have fun. In the early 1960s, when David was 9 years old, he came to the United States. Here, he became an American citizen, and it was in the Windy City, Chicago, where he spent most of his childhood and adult life. He loved his job and cared deeply for his co-workers.
Not only that, David loved his country; he was a proud American. David met his wife Eve online in 2002, after his first marriage ended because of misunderstandings and cultural clashes with his first wife. He was looking for a new life companion, and Eve was divorced and ready for a new start. So, they met and started the chapter together.
David was a good father. He cared for his children well into their adult lives, even financially supporting his son Joshua while he was ill. David loved his daughter, Sarah, dearly, and always thought of her as a precious jewel. While his first marriage wasn't perfect, David did his best to be a good husband; in its dissolution, he took on the responsibility of debt while giving his most valuable assets to his ex-wife.
David was nothing but supportive to Eve. He quietly provided all of necessities, and they loved each other in their own special way. It in the way David took care of his stepson—Jeffrey every weekend when he came home. David was also a good friend to his stepdaughter, Sandi. Since they first met in 2002, they had many wonderful years together, including tying the knot officially in 2013.
David is preceded in death by father Hsueh Lien Chow David is survived by wife Eve Chen; mother Betty C Chow; daughter Sarah Aqino; son Joshua Chow; step-daughter Sandi Gau; and step-son Jeffrey Gau Serving as pallbearers are Paul Chen and Joshua Chou A Celebration of David's Life will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, at 10:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends and guests for a reception of food and fellowship immediately following the Celebration of Life.
