She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith and Nelbert Capers Smith; her deep Christian; her brother Dexter (Bruce); and her daughter Ellise.
She is survived by: her children, Craig (Pat) of Warrenton, Connie (Bruce Story) of Kerrville, Kevin (Robin) of Austin, Carvel (Dianne) of Texarkana and Lowell of Lake Jackson; and her son-in-law Mark Griot of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
