He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulas Dunlap and Claudia Dunlap; his brother Bruce Dunlap; his sister-in-law Joyce Dunlap; and his daughter-in-law Tonya F. Dunlap.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dunlap of Lake Jackson; his children, Litrina R. Rice (Willie) of Georgetown, SC, Shannon Henry (Cedric) of Lake Jackson, Avrie Dunlap and Brandon Combs (Stacey) of League City; his siblings, Sandra Jenkins of Clute, Hurlan Dunlap (Velma) of Pearland, Maurice Dunlap (Belle) of Clute, Ronnie Dunlap (Ethel) of Jones Creek, Ray Wright (Irene) of Brazoria, Stephen Dunlap of Brazoria, Charles Lunford of Angleton, Dwight Dunlap of Houston, Michael Dunlap (Sandra) of Lake Jackson and Jefferey Dunlap (Tiffanye) of Rosenburg; and his sister-in-law Ruth Dunlap of Clute. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dixon Funeral Home-Angleton (2025 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church (1615 Skinner St, Freeport, TX 77541).
