He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis VanBeber and Crystal VanBeber; his siblings, Charlene Bell, Deborah Nadine Duval, Maxine Tally and Vernie VanBeber; and his grandson Phillip Kreischer.

He is survived by: his wife Connie VanBeber; his daughter Marta (Tim Bennett); his siblings, Eveline Hammonds, Joy Jackson, Francis VanBeber and Eugene VanBeber; and his grandchildren, Andrew Kreischer (Amanda), Micah Kreischer, Jonah Kreischer, Kye Bennett and Brian Bennett. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
