It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Merne Allgood (Lake Brownwood, Texas), born in Trona, California, who passed away on May 7, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Westgate Abernethy and Merne Hollingsworth Abernethy; her sister Beth Abernethy Followill of Ft. Wayne; and her daughter Kimberly Renai Klaverweiden. She is survived by: her husband Lex Allgood; her son Jerry-Dan Klaverweiden of Briar Cliff, Texas; her stepdaughters, April Kelly of Odessa and Lisa Hancock of Berthoud, Colorado; her brother Perry; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Abernethy of Corinth and Chris Grimes of Atlanta, GA.; and her grandchildren, Kelci, Kyleigh, Emery, Kenedy, Logan, Sean, Alyssa and Silas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
