He is survived by: his former wife Vicki Lyn Sarrett; his wife Patricia "Patti" Ann Vasquez; his children, John Smith (Elena Smith) of New Braunfels, Kristi Huxford (Brent) of Bangs, Chad Smith (Amber) of Early, Frankie Smith of Littleton, Mary Villarreal (Lupe Villarreal) of Brownwood, Becky Contreras (Wes Contreras) of Moore and D. J. Rios (Chaylie Rios) of Bangs; his sisters, Treva Matthaei (Jack Matthaei) of Brownwood and Sharon Gotcher of Brownwood; and his pet Tater. He is also survived by 16 grandkids.
