He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Truman Murphy and Marjorie Murphy (Easterling); his brother Rodger Dale Murphy; his daughter Samantha Murphy; and his son-in-law Brian Sharrer.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Murphy; his children, Patricia Sharrer and Chad Murphy (Crystal); his grandsons, Dakota Sharrer (Gema) and Jessie Sharrer (Jasmine); his great grandchildren, Allina, Murphy Sharrer, Loralyie and Lizzy Sharrer; and his brother Truman Murphy (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations sent to Hendrick Hospice Care (1651 Pine St. Abilene, Texas 79601) in memory of Curtis Murphy.
