It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gurt Brown of Laird Hill, Texas, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brown and Lea Brown; and his brothers, Huey, George and Roy Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Brown; his daughters, Stephanie Tucker (John) and Barbara Baker (Dewayne); his grandchildren, Tracie Hampton (Mikel), Tiphany Bowers (Kyle) and Chris Pruett (Veronica); his great grandchildren, Beau, Gracelynn, Gunner, Miracle of Genna, CJ, Daxton, Laynie, Wynter, Zane, Easton and Bonus; his daughter Melissa Morrow; and his aunt Leola Vinzant. He is also survived by Brother and Sister in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
