He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Salinas Betancourt; his siblings, Guadalupe Betancourt and Debora Betancourt; and his siblings-in-law, Maria Betancourt, Blanca Betancourt and George Oceguera, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Adelfia Betancourt; his children, Alejandro Ruiz, Petrona Reina (Javier), Pedro Bardales, Reynaldo Betancourt (Amber) and Tawnya Betancourt; his mother Casilda Martinez Betancourt; his siblings, Daniel Betancourt, Jr., Christobal Betancourt (Noemi), Santos Salinas (Liset), Amelia Villarreal (Joe), Celia Martinez and Francisca Betancourt; and his grandchildren, Javier Reina, Jr., Itzel Reina, Sara Reina, Alejandro Ruiz, Jr., Damian Liam Andablo and Serena Renee Andablo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fundraiser Raffle for Funeral expenses beginning on July 7, 2023, hosted by Hopie Garza and Rosalva Rivera.
