He was predeceased by: his father James Calvin Guthrie; his stepfather James H. Allen; and his brothers, Paul and Scott. He is survived by: his mother Bette Guthrie of San Antonio; his wife Judy of Lago Vista; his stepchildren, Jason Everett of San Diego, CA and Marcelline Pearson of Round Rock; his grandchildren, William, Sarah Everett, Andrew, Ashlynn and Alec Pearson; and his stepsiblings, Christine Moseley of Brady, Nancy Sarson of Lewis Center, OH, Carol Colwell of Belton and J. H. Allen of College Station.
