He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Challis and Lorene Challis; and his sister Sheila Coffman. He is survived by: his wife Sherron; his children, Colleen Delisle (Vance) of Dallas, Audrey Kemper of Dallas, David Challis of Dallas and Sarah Walls (Doug) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Quinn, Asher Delisle, Alec, Julia Kemper and Sam Stovall; and his brothers, Gaylon and Larry Challis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Caring Place or the Salvation Army.
