We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2024, at the age of 84, Sylvia Edna McGee of Ladonia, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Doyle George and Minerva Belle Duty George; her grandson Dalton McGee (Alyssa); and her siblings, Doyle George, Johnny Earl George, Louise Lindsey and Rachel McSparrin.
She is survived by: her husband Carl McGee of Dallas; her children, Michael McGee (Amanda) of Ladonia and Carla McGee (Ilene Smoger); her siblings, David George (Donna) of Allen and Etheline Martin of Camdenton; and her grandson Stern McGee of Austin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family and Friends Cross Trails Cowboy Church (4761 FM 1563 Fairlie, TX 75496). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cross Trails Cowboy Church (4761 FM 1563 Fairlie, TX 75496).
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriners Children in memory of Sylvia McGee.
