She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Meredith and Lottie Ray Rattan (Farmer); her husband John Arthur Smith; her sons, John Alan Smith and Jeff Smith; her siblings, Bobby Rattan and Jimmie Doris; her brother-in-law Calvin Vessels; her parents-in-law, W. T. (Bill) and Faye Smith; her aunt Myrt Smith; and also, Jimmy Baxter and Kelayne Kueckelhan.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Shelton of Paris, Michele Smith of Sulphur Springs, Cindy (Marty Kueckelhan), Stanley Smith of Dallas and Leasa Baxter of Oak Ridge; her great grandchildren, Blair Shelton (Tyler Tongson), Jared Shelton (Tyra Reeves), Shannon, Jackie Thomas, Lane, Aubrey, Jennifer, Colt Compton, Grady, Conley, Quincy Kueckelhan, Haynzli, Brad, Kaylea Baxter, Brian, Krista Baxter and Bryce; her sister-in-law Sue Rattan; her nieces, Robin Bethel and Pam Petrea; and her close friends, Sarah Sue Burnett, Molly Turner, Sylvia Wishard and Carol Wishard.
All attendees are asked to wear face masks and observe social distancing.
