He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Clifton and Mabel Johnson; his wife Nancy Clifton; his children, Larry Clifton and Margaret McCullough; his grandsons, Christopher Lloyd Bailey, Clint Ray Clifton and Randy McCullough Jr.; and his great great grandchild Brynlee Ray Clifton-Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Clifton (Sandra) of Hamilton, AL, Gary Clifton (Barbra) of Wolfe City, TX, Charlotte Sime (John) of Lillington, NC and Victoria Straughan (John) of Ladonia, TX; his children-in-law, Randy McCullough of Macon, GA and Teresa Clifton of Dallas, TX; and his sister Nadine Buchanan of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
