He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cleo Godwin and Roberta Godwin; his wife Leonor Godwin of Stephenville, Texas; his children, Edward Godwin of Round Rock, Texas, Marcille Godwin of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Holly Stahnke (Kevin) of Hico, Texas; and his grandchildren, Rainey, Nathaniel, Phillip, Shade and Magnolia.
