He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Dale Stokes and Beatrice Stokes (Wiley); his wife Jean Stokes of Stephenville; his sons, Floyd Wiley Stokes (Kelly) of Stephenville and David Stokes of Stephenville; his grandchildren, Stephanie Cervetto, Joseph Stokes, Clayton Stokes, Cole Stokes and Sheridan Stokes; his sister Margaret Lester of Brownwood; and his great grandchildren, Lane Stokes, Luke Stokes, Leah Stokes and Caroline Cervetto. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
