It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Hancock of Lacy Lakeview, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Hancock and Lorene Hancock (Hammons); his brother Ronnie Hancock; his mother-in-law Mary Smetak; and his brothers-in-law, Hank, James and Marcell.
He is survived by: his wife Czech (Pat); his brother Dwayne (Kathie) of Temecula, CA; his children, Darren (Sandra) of Waco, Jason Hancock of Waco and Kim Wood (Brian) of Mansfield; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Mallory Hancock, Easton, Camden and Maddox Wood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
