She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Layman and Millie Layman (Hicks); her husband Edmund Sam Kosub, Sr.; her daughter Rhonda Kosub; her sisters, Marilyn Faye Thiebaud, Carrie Lawless, Geneva Ator and Lorene Robinson; and her son-in-law Arthur Marks.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Marks of St. Hedwig and Edmund S. Kosub, Jr. (Kathy) of La Vernia; her grandchildren, Steven L. Rosebrock (Sheri) of St. Hedwig, Krista R. Malone (Mark) of Boerne, Yevette Kosub (Robert) of San Antonio, Geany Bradley (Stephen) of La Vernia, Trisha Kosub (Chase) of San Antonio and Brandi Stephens (Ryan) of San Antonio; her great grandchildren, Chance Rosebrock, Courtney Rattler, Corey Guillory, Hailey Filippini (Gianfranco), Alexandra Malone, Sarah Bradley, William Blocker, Braeden Stephens, Asher Stephens and Ryker Stephens; and her friend Elmer Otis Mills. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
