He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimiro Valerio and Sotera Valerio; and his sister Anita Valerio. He is survived by: his wife Anita Garza Valerio; his children, Robert Valerio, Jr. (Sylvia), Rose Marie Rivas, Tracy Valerio (Martha), Jerry Valerio (Judy), Valerie Ann Valerio and Elizabeth Hookstra (Ryan); his stepdaughters, Lucy Ann Hoffman (Terry) and Ruth Amy Clark (Nick); his grandchildren, Sterling Hoffman, Nick, Andres, Marcos, Sabrina, Marissa, Aric, Hunter, Mikayla, Maverick, Remington and Florence; and his brothers, Raymond Valerio (Emma) and Jimmy Valerio.
