He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Capps and Albina Capps (Horky); his wife Diane White; his sister Lisa Louise; his niece Laura; his parents-in-law, George and Florence White; his brother-in-law Lynn; his grandfather Charlie Horky; his children, Elizabeth (Mike) and Michael J. L. (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emmalee and Kamdon; his siblings, Larry (Lynn), Johnny (Pam), Shirley (Steve), Joan and Teresa (Jimmy); and his siblings-in-law, John Michael (Lana), George (Carla), Randy (Ruth), Bryan (Debra), Mary Maxene (Bob) and Kathy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stockdale in his honor.
