She is survived by: her father Marcos Ortiz; her husband Miguel A. "Mike" Leija; and her siblings, Marie Ortiz-Jaramillo (Ruben), Virginia Ortiz-Valdez (Leonard), Emily Ortiz-Wheeler (Roger) and Jose Angel Ortiz (Rosalinda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
