She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurelia T. Castillo and Domingo Castillo. She is survived by: her husband Ruben Acosta Sr.; her sons, Ruben Acosta Jr. and Baby Boy; her sister Maria Nieves C. Ortiz; her granddaughter Billie Jo Gutierrez; her sister Maria Elena C. Martinez; her children, Maria Linda Perez, Josie Gutierrez (Vidal Gutierrez Sr.), William B. Trevino III (Griselda Trevino), Anna Longoria, Carolina Acosta Gonzales (Basillio Gonzales), Cynthia Acosta Zamora (James Zamora), Jeanette Acosta McDonald (Jacob Murray) and Monica Acosta Lopez (Joe Lopez); and her grandchildren, Erika Aurelia Perez, Vanessa Lucia Gamez, Felicia Marie Gamez, Michelle Lee Flores, Valerie Rose Gutierrez, Vidal Gutierrez Jr., Ashley Nicole Trevino, Shelika Chealsey Trevino, William Bobby Trevino IV, Kristian Anthony Trevino, Kevin Alexander Trevino, Juan Longoria, Annalisa Longoria Lara (Adrian Lara), Rogelio Longoria (Justene Longoria), Benney Acosta, Byron James Zamora, John Wayne Zamora (Leslie Caballero), Ahsara Zamora Bernal (Jesse Bernal), Justin Acosta McDonald, Joshua Christopher McDonald, Johnathan Andres McDonald, Ashlynn Dyvine Lopez (Kenny Martinez), Christopher Gavin Lopez (Isa Lopez), Abraham Guillermo Lopez and Joseph Gustavo Lopez. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
She lost her battle with Alzheimer's Disease and is preceded in death by both parents Mother Aurelia T. Castillo, and Father Domingo Castillo.
