He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alma Grun and Johnnie D. Grun; his stepmother Mary Grun; his sisters, Mildred Neal and Francis Hartwick; his wife Caralyn Grun; his children, John L. Grun (Shelly), Sandra Peschke (Allen), Jodi Blume (Dale), Susan Woodall (Bill) and Scott Duelm; his grandchildren, Katelyn Grun, Zoe Peschke, Zane Peschke, Devin Blume, Treyton Blume, Kamrin Thomas (Gavin), Aaron Duelm (Erin), Zachary Duelm and Amber Duelm; his great grandchildren, Kinsleigh Thomas and Duke Davis; his brothers, Art Grun (Lisa) and Joe Grun (Beverly); and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Baldwin (Van) and Dana Driggers (Bobby). He was also cherished by friends and family, gardening, raising farm animals.
Memorial contribution may be made in Johnnie's name to Christ Lutheran Elm Creek.
