It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joeseph Martin of La Vernia, Texas, born in Piney Flats, Tennessee, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin and Louise Martin (Oliver); his sister Nora Hardin; and his father-in-law Clifford Sweat. He is survived by: his wife Judy Martin; his sons, Steve McKinnie, Richard McKinnie (Erin), John Martin and Daniel Martin (Dale McGahee); his grandchildren, Kara McKinnie, Joshua McKinnie, Ethan McKinnie, Dylan McKinnie and Jaxson McKinnie; his mother-in-law Lola Sweat; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Robeson (Jack), Susan Porter (Brent) and Cliff Sweat (Sherrie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
