The passing of JoEllen Hertz (La Vernia, Texas) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 79. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Tinklepaugh and Eulene Tinklepaugh; her brother Norman Tinklepaugh; and her brother-in-law Lyle Davison. She is survived by: her husband Chris Hertz; her sons, Jeff Hertz (Monica), Alan Hertz (Taffi), Danny Hertz (Lisa) and Justin Hertz (Heather); her sister Judy Davison; and her sister-in-law Kathy Tinklepaugh. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
