He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Preston McMinn and Ethel McMinn (Nason); his daughter Cathy Vlahos; and his granddaughter Shannon McMinn. He is survived by: his wife Melva McMinn; his children, Debra Capriato, Kenneth McMinn, Joe C. McMinn Jr., Lacii Spenrath (Roger) and Ronald A. Steger; his grandchildren, Miriah Day, B. J. Vlahos, Nick Vlahos, Brady Spenrath, Reyn Steger, Heidi Steger, Avery McMinn, Bradleigh McMinn, Danielle Capriato and Carmen Capriato; and his sister Peggy Ming (Glennice). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and countless friends.
