In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jimmie leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Jimmie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Penshorn and Annie Penshorn (Lenz); and his wife Maxine Volkmann. He is survived by: his children, Karen Leinweber, Laurie Guerrero, Darryl Penshorn (Rebe), Brian Penshorn (Charmin) and Todd Penshorn. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 sister in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Jimmie Penshorns name.
