She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George H. Thies and Vivian B. Thies (Benner); her children, Loretta Lenz, Shirley Foster, Marvin Allen Lenz, Cynthia Lenz, Rebecca Childs and Darrell Lenz; and her siblings, John Thies, Gordon Thies and Mary Thies. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
