He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Somogyi and Evelyn Somogyi; his friends, Gene and Pa-Pa; his wife Robin Somogyi; his son Jonathan Somogyi; his brother Michael Somogyi; his daughter-in-law Regina Somogyi; and his granddaughters, Juliana and Jenavieve Somogyi. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial has been established in Gene's name for the American Heart Association.
