It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert Earl Trowbridge Jr. (La Vernia, Texas), who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steva Trowbridge and Elbert Sr. Trowbridge. He is survived by: his son Nelson Trowbridge; his brothers, L. C. of Curtis, R. D. and Joe Trowbridge; his wife Dorothy Louise Trowbridge; his sons, Elbert Trowbridge III (Darlyne) and Charlie Trowbridge (Gina); his niece Billie Pruett; his nephew Keegan Hall; his grandchildren, Kristin Trowbridge, Kaley Trowbridge, Nolan Conniff (Maria) and Rusty Trowbridge (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Graham, Zachary and Mikaela; and his sister Dorothy Walden.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Greenleaf Cemetery (2615 US-377, Brownwood, TX 76801).
