She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bitterly and Florence Bitterly (Sowa); and her brother Larry Bitterly. She is survived by: her husband David Shodrock; her daughters, Sheila Stanzione (Jeff), Stacy Gundy (Dwayne) and Stephanie Koenig (Mark Mattox); her grandchildren, Brett Stanzione (Alex), Garrett Gundy, Grant Gundy, Bailee Stanzione and Brodie Koenig; her great grandchild Olivia Stanzione; and her siblings, Cindy Childree (Mike) and Ronnie Bitterly (Laura). She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (14011 FM 1346, St Hedwig, TX 78152). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the BVM Catholic Cemetery.
