She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Hicks and Vada Lee West Hicks; her children, Kris, Vada and Nathan; and her husband Doyle.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Heath, Doyle Edward Grissom, Bart Grissom (Penny) and Don Grissom (Glenda); and her brothers, J. C. Hicks (MaryLou) and Gary Hicks (Cindy). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Steele Branch Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
