He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dorsett and Violet Dorsett. He is survived by: his wife Carroll; his children, Howard Dorsett (Beth) and Kellie Montoya (Juan); his grandchildren, Katelyn McCloskey, Kyle Dorsett, Kohl Dorsett, Madison Montoya and Austin Montoya; and his sisters, Audrey Good (Richard) and Juanita Scott (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org) in Bill's memory to support fellow veterans in need.
