With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Petree (La Vernia, Texas), born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2019 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ross Elsworth Petree and Opal Mae Petree (Blackford); her daughters, Kimberly Perez Hernandez (Veronica) of San Antonio and Jessica Cruz (John) of La Vernia; her brothers, Jesse Petree (Reesie) of Midland and Jerry Petree (Bonnie) of Midland; and her grandchildren, Jesse, David Shotzman, Alexandria and Jacob Cruz.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Barbara's name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation (bcrf.org).
