With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Janet Pollok (La Vernia, Texas), who passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Kortz and Susie Kortz. She is survived by: her sisters, Ann and Anna Mae; her husband Alfred William Pollok; her children, Kenneth, Ronald, Karen, San Antonio and Shannon; her grandchildren, Shannon, Lacey, Edward, Christine, Alissa and Emily; her great grandchildren, Trey, Sallie, Mason, Brynna, Myles, Addison, Kayleigh Ann, Hunter, Chandler and Harrison; and her daughters-in-law, Cindy and Kathy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (14151 U. S. Hwy 87 W, La Vernia, TX 78121). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Nativity of the BVM Catholic Cemetery.
