He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Castillo and Maria Louisa Castillo (Rodriguez); his wife Louise Rosales; his sisters, Rosie Ortiz and Ruby Martinez; his son-in-law Pedro Saldivar Jr.; and his great grandchild Alyssandra Quijano.

He is survived by: his children, Rosa Quijano (Jesus) of La Pryor, Mary Louise Saldivar of La Pryor, Frances Perez (Cresencio) of Marion, Savina Melendrez (Florencio) of La Pryor, Pauline Castillo of La Pryor, Jose Manuel Castillo (Norma) of San Antonio, Pedro Castillo, Jr. of La Pryor and Paul Castillo (Mary Lou) of Seguin; and his sisters, Mary Pearl Creech of Norman, Virginia Ingram of Lookeba and Madeline Reinhart of Gracemont, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
