She was predeceased by: her parents, Benito Perez and Soila Perez (Cruz); her husband Fidel Salazar; and her brothers, Benito Perez, Jr. and Camilo Perez.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Villareal of La Pryor, Elsa Quijano (Joel) of La Pryor, Raquel Nevarez of La Pryor and Fidel Salazar (Lydia) of Kerrville; and her siblings, Eloisa Hernandez of Uvalde, Gloria Garcia of Corpus Christi and Alejandro Perez of La Pryor. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
