With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria De La Luz Esquibel of La Pryor, Texas, born in Pharr, Texas, who passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paula Gomez (Pruneda) and Eduardo Gomez; her daughter Christina Marie Esquibel; and her siblings, Elvira Guerra, Domingo Gomez and Jose Luis Gomez of Arkansas.
She is survived by: her husband Tomas Esquibel; her children, Melinda Almendarez (Edward) of San Antonio, Mariselda Alvarez (Alvaro) of Uvalde, Ernesto Esquibel (Debra) of San Antonio, Hector Esquibel (Menda) of Uvalde and Tomas Esquibel, III (Beatrice) of Helotes; and her brothers, Roy Gomez of Michigan and Leonel Gomez of Illinois. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
