It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise Elaine Moerbe of La Pryor, Texas, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Kiesling and Ida Kiesling; her brothers, Larry Kiesling (Bennie) and Lester Kiesling; and her brother-in-law Stanley Moerbe.
She is survived by: her husband Walter "Sonny" Moerbe, III; her children, Amanda Dockal (Larry), Walter "Bubba" Moerbe, IV (Beth) and Leon Moerbe (Darcee); her grandchildren, Shyann Jackson (Mitchell), Larry "Trey" Dockal III, Walter "Clay" Moerbe V, Lily Moerbe, Kendall Moerbe, Reagan Moerbe and Camryn Moerbe; her brother Lynn Kiesling (Jean) of San Angelo; and her siblings-in-law, Randy Moerbe (Jan) of El Campo, Merle Moerbe (Janet) of La Pryor, Elaine Kiesling of Uvalde and Sandi Moerbe of Brady. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (762 N Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to High Point Village, where Louise's niece is a villager.
