He is survived by: his mother Olga Perez; his children, Jacklyn Ortegon (Isidoro Camacho) of Uvalde, John R. Ortegon (Araseli Roque) of La Pryor and Jacob R. Ortegon of La Pryor; his siblings, Olga Gonzales (Joe Hinojosa) of La Pryor, Carlos Ortegon of La Pryor, Jesse Ortegon (Maggie Ortiz) of La Pryor and Joe Ortegon of La Pryor; and the mother of his children Maggie Ortegon of Chicago. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
