He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonia Perez, (Rodriguez) and Seledonio Perez, Sr.; his wife Esther Valdez; his children, Jesus Perez, Jr., Johnny Joe Perez, Juan Jose Perez and Jessica Perez; his grandson Noah Alexander Hodges; and his siblings, Raul Perez, Antonia Garcia, Mencha Flores and Ramona Valdez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Isabel Perez (Bobby Lopez) of La Pryor, Marissa Hodges (Isaac) of La Pryor and Linda Perez of Uvalde; and his siblings, Santa Martinez of La Pryor, Guadalupe Roman of Del Rio, Maria Carmen Aguilar of Hereford and Seledonio Perez, Jr. of La Pryor.
