She was predeceased by: her parents, Cruz Cortez and Juanita Hernandez; her husband Manuel Cruz, Jr.; her granddaughter Melissa Saldana; her great grandchildren, Billy Vera, Jr. and Brianna Granado; and her siblings, Paul Cortez, Cleto Cortez, Johnny Cortez and Crucita Cortez.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalinda Hernandez of Virginia, Irma Saldana of Katy, Sylvia Vera (Santos) of La Pryor, Sally Ortiz (Eluterio) of La Pryor, Lydia Delao (Adolfo) of Katy, Brenda Cruz of La Pryor, Manuel Cruz, III (Maria) of Uvalde and Eddie Cruz of La Pryor; and her siblings, Yoli Torres of San Angelo, Lala Flores of San Angelo, Anne Martinez of San Angelo and Pilo Cortez of San Angelo. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
