She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Martinez and Paulita Martinez (Gonzales); her husband Matthew Gonzales McHazlett; her sons, Matthew Jr. and Dwight; and her siblings, Jesus "Chuy" Martinez, Regina Gonzalez, Noe Martinez, Olga Olivo and Cipriano "Mario" Martinez.
She is survived by: her sister Amalia Esquivel of San Antonio; her daughters-in-law, Alice "Sissy" McHazlett of La Pryor and Sue McHazlett of Orange Grove; and her grandchildren, Lisa Monett Ermis (Glen) of Orange Grove, Matthew "Andy" McHazlett (Janna) of La Grange, Dwight H. McHazlett Jr. (Rebecca) of Bay City and Lanette McHazlett Sanchez (John) of San Marcos. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
