She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisca Ortiz Perez and Gernaro Perez; and her siblings, Arturo Perez of La Pryor, Gernaro Jr. Perez of La Pryor, Elias Perez of La Pryor, Guadalupe Casares of Eagle Pass and Maria Rubio of Uvalde.
She is survived by: her husband Saturino Ortiz of La Pryor; her children, Gabriel Ortiz (Cristina Mosqueda) of Lytle, Jose Luis Ortiz (Marisela Ortiz) of Uvalde, Saturino Jr. Ortiz (Maria Ortiz) of La Pryor, Lisa Ortiz (Rudy R. Garza) of La Pryor and Julia Ann Ortiz of La Pryor; and her sisters, Evangeline Moreno of La Pryor and Diana Ramos of Colorado. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
