He is survived by: his wife Betty Thornton Wright; his daughters, Kim Stephens (Damon) and Wendy Wilson (Kevin); his grandchildren, Sterling, Malorie and Braden; and his great grandchild Kye.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his name to the La Porte Community Church at 202 South 1st Street in La Porte.
